| Die '''''Great Game Machine''''' ('''GGM'''), besser bekannt unter dem Namen '''''Modular-Game-System''''' / '''''Multi-Game-System''''' oder eben '''MGS''', gehörte zu den Geräten, bei denen der Hersteller [[Sandy|Sandy Electronic]] mit Erfolg das Modularsystem einsetzte. Eine weitere Besonderheit des Systems war es, dass mann die Module nicht nur auswechseln konnte, wenn ein neues, spieltstärkeres erhältlich war, sondern dass man die Module auch während des Spiels austauschen konnte. So beginnt man z.B. mit dem Eröffnungs-Modul [[Grünfeld Eröffnungsmodul|Grünfeld-S]], lässt das Mittelspiel von [[Chafitz Steinitz Edition|Steinitz-4]] bestreiten und setzt im Endspiel schließlich [[Chafitz Capablanca Edition|Capablanca-S]] ein.
