Phoenix Chess Systems is a small private company which was founded by Ruud Martin living in the Netherlands. He was inspired around 5 years ago by the beauty of chess computer systems. During the past years he worked on new ideas, new concepts and new techniques to build chess computer systems. This resulted for 2004 in the release of the Resurrection module set usable in existing Mephisto chess boards. Again, end of 2006, he built his own complete system : Revelation.
The systems are openly recognised as the strongest chess systems in the world with SSDF ratings around 2500 ELO.
